Welcome to BHOP

BENONI HOUSE OF PRAYER is the expression of our desire as a congregation at

House of the Lord, to carry the Davidic calling to “rebuild again the Tabernacle of David” so that the “rest of humanity may seek the Lord.”

(Amos 9:11; Acts 15:16)

Our Vision is to establish a community that offers worship, prayer and adoration to God 24/7 until Jesus comes.

We seek to answer the call of God throughout the history of humanity, for a “resting place” (Isaiah 66) to be established so His Spirit can collide with a broken humanity.

We create and release an expression of night and day worship and intercession, because HE ALONE IS WORTHY TO RECEIVE IT.

We anticipate the outpouring of God’s Spirit in the church, as well as the transformation of our city and nation.

We invite teams, representing local churches across the city, to take 1-hour or 2-hour shifts to worship, pray, intercede and create in this space.

Our Motivation

We want to serve our local church by fanning the flame of prayer and worship to inspire a deeper walk with God in the lives of believers.

We hope to see the local churches throughout the city united through ministering to the Lord as the primary focus. We believe that we will see the spiritual atmosphere of our city change as we minister to the Lord and build a dwelling place for Him through our worship.

What does a BHOP SESSION look like?

Vertical Worship: The focus is to minister to the Lord and create an atmosphere for encountering His prescence.

We encourage those in attendance to journal, study the Word of God, pray or sing .

Spontaneous/Prophetic: The BHOP hour is not scripted according to any programme and we encourage those who come to worship and intercede to be spontaneous and free in the House of Prayer.
