In a rushed world where the demands on our time is relentless, it is imperative that we as followers of Jesus create a counter-culture that allows us to acknowledge our need for silence and solitude, as we seek God’s face away from the flurry of daily activity.
We read in the gospels that Jesus often withdrew to a solitary place to pray.
We want to serve the community in Benoni by making the Prayer Chapel available for this purpose, to learn the secret of Jesus’ communion with the Father.
The space is primarily used for times of personal prayer, but is also frequented by prayer groups.
